Drummer and percussionist Dylan Good began his musical career around age 6 studying piano with Larry Dieffenbach in Geneva, IL. Since then, he has studied with many more musicians including pianists Jon Warfel, Chris White, and percussionists Aaron Puckett, Ben Wahlund, and Brad Stirtz. An alumnus of Kaneland High School, he continued in his education to earn a bachelors degree in jazz studies from North Central College with drum set artist Jack Mouse. Dylan continues to serve as the percussionist for the American Grands performances held at Elgin Community College. In addition, Dylan is an educator and performer and keeps a schedule of private lessons, and performances in the Denver, Fort Collins, and Chicagoland area with the Dylan Good Trio, and the blues/rock band The Catcalls. His goal for teaching is to help every student become a well-rounded pianist or percussionist, musician, and individual. He also has worked with jazz groups and as a percussion tech in local schools.
